Travel Baker County

Travel Baker County is the Destination Marketing Organization for Baker County, which is in Northeast Oregon. Baker City, the county seat and largest town, sits at the intersection of Interstate 84 and three scenic byways, providing visitors access to some of the most spectacular scenery in the Northwest. The area is rich with history surrounding the Oregon Trail migration, pioneers, homesteaders and gold miners. Itineraries can include jet boat tours through Hells Canyon, hiking through the Wallowa Mountains with pack llamas, horseback experiences, a ride on a historic steam train, panning for gold, culinary tours in Historic Baker City, and dinner with the pioneers, overlooking the ruts of the Oregon Trail.
