End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

Located at the official End of the Oregon Trail in Oregon City, OR featuring the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Oregon State Visitor Center. the Visitor Center offers travelers with  free brochures, travel assistance, and itineraries.  Visitors can enjoy our renovated Visitor Lounge and Country Store featuring local books, goods and children’s games and activities including “Who’s Traveling the Trail” dress up and photo opportunity.  The Interpretive Center, reopened in 2013 and has an upgraded “Bound for Oregon” featured film, “please touch” exhibits and programs that encourage free play and discovery on topics relating to the Oregon Trail journey, pioneer living, Oregon Territory, Clackamas county, The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and more.  The End of the Oregon Trail also features many unique events during the year including author presentations, films, children’s programs and summertime concerts.
